1.) You get a paycheck if you can call it that. They claim that they pay higher than "industry" standard, but there is little competition in the Field Service industry, so the bar is set pretty low. 2.) One huge pro is the day you leave this place for another job and find that every other company culture is better than this one. You don't have to be treated like dirt to be paid a decent wage.

In my professional life, I've never worked for a company like this. The culture reminds me of all the worst parts of high school: petty, backstabbing, cliquish, baseless rumors, and more, basically like the mean girls in the movie Mean Girls. This culture is in direct reflection of the management style of the executive "team." I use the word "team" loosely because one person really rules the coop and the others follow. There is little room to grow within the company. I would consider this an entry level job without any upward mobility. There are 3 tiers in this company, the Executive Team, Middle Management, and entry level. The middle management tier is a new addition because Sentinel had to make changes to adapt to new health care laws. Middle Management is just a smoke screen, they have no real power or authority over their teams, nor do they lead. The executive team has a tight grasp on everything. There is no trust. Sentinel claims they want to hear from their employees, but that is another lie they tell to appease everyone. If change happens it's because it's thrust upon them by external forces, not from within. What change occurred during my tenure with the company occurred only after months of infighting and push back. When new technology was being introduced, the executive team pushed back on every facet of the roll out, often pushing back on items that were approved just days earlier. Decisions that were clear cut were muddied by their lack of action and personal vendettas. I wouldn't recommend anyone become a client of or vendor for this company. Many of the problems that Sentinel have will never be addressed. All potential clients and vendors beware.

Employees are very well compensated given the experience and education of the individuals hired. Exciting and fun place to work. Revolving regulations keep you on your toes so you are never bored. Work hard, be forgiving, keep your head down, and do your job you will be fine. Individuals who demonstrate a true passion for building something great from nothing and are willing to push themselves to the limits will achieve big goals.

As with any entrepreneurial company your time is well vested to the company. Nothing is black or white, everything is always grey. Revolving regulations make for unprecedented changes to training which make it hard to maintain and stay at pace to maintain business at the same speed. Lack of knowledge in industry with some managers makes it difficult to get the correct information.

There were a lot of good employees. I enjoyed working with the people at my level. The pay is pretty decent given the educational level of many of the employees, but the company is severally top heavy both in the ratio of management to lower level employees and and in the ratio of money going to the executives and the total revenue of the company. The company does a decent job at providing the technology resources needed by its employees

Severally top heavy with management and executives accounting for a bulk of the employees and an overwhelming majority of the pay. Executives do not have any foresight in the industry or the direction of the company. All management and executives are intensely arrogant and conceited, despite showing no real evidence that they know what they're doing or what they're even trying to do. The infrastructure was completely reorganized twice within a year with all roles being changed without any training or even descriptions of the new roles. Executives and upper management do basically whatever they want without even offering an explanation to the employees and then just expect the employees to make it work with no direction. Would not recommend to anyone.
