The work environment is absolutely terrible. I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this company. Your Salary is less than minimum wage, so it in effect works out that your first £8500 of sales every month, goes straight to the company and you do not get a penny. You only then get 5% past that point. Bullying and sexist comments are a massive issue across many of the offices, managers are not managed and therefore can get away with what ever they want. There are little to no progression methods within the company, you will be promised a plan, but never told when it’ll start or what the requirements are. The are no employee benefits whatsoever. There are a multitude of estate agents available across Northamptonshire, and I would recommend you work for anyone else but this company. My review includes the: Northampton office, the Kettering office, the Raunds office, the Rothwell office, and the Wellingborough office. I’m not the only staff member that thinks this and I have spoken to many that have experienced the same. There is a reason why most new staff members leave within 10 months. Do not believe the OTE listed, this number is massively high and I have yet to meet a single person earning close to that amount.

Sequence pays well, and generally tries to keep their consultants happy and growing. The best thing they have going for them is their Talent Acquisition as they consistently hire hard working and friendly people. The company culture is good, it feels like youre working with your friends. If you work hard and advocate for yourself with your manager, you will likely be promoted. Depending on the project, you will either have a lot of work, or very little. So experience and growth can be in flux, but they are trying to supplement their training facility with that to ensure you learn as much as you want to. They also have a physical tracker to being promoted so its easier to see where you stand, what you need to work on, and how far you are from your next step up. However, they consistently try to change to get better, so some people show frustration from moving goalposts.

They have a history of being a little unorganized and have some communication issues specifically surrounding how much longer you'll be on a project and when you are going to your next project. Some people complain about not getting recognized enough for their work and struggles with promotions. Some people have mentioned getting stuck in the same roles for too long, but managers typically show effort to try to give you new responsibilities when possible.
