Vantaggi
1. Work Setting: Hybrid working policy, 5 times a month WFO or more. 2. It’s a small “startup” company, you’ll basically meet and collaborate with everyone. Some people are nice as a person but not so much in work ethics 3. Benefits : Basic, flexible working hours (too flexible that it’s being abused, see cons), medical insurance, wifi/mobile allowance (this can be a cons too - it’s a bare minimum and especially coming from PETRONAS subsidiary, the staffs deserve more)
Svantaggi
1. The management vibe was seriously questionable. The people was not exactly open to new ways of working, and the communication could use a serious upgrade, seriously. It’s always passive-aggressive and vague. 2. Salary was ok until you’re expected to work 24/7 (including holidays) and realised that you’re actually paid peanuts hourly. It will took a toll on your health mentally and physically in the long run. The medical insurance benefit was useless when you don’t even have time to go for dr consultation as you’re overwhelmed with deadlines. Plus, there’s no clear boundary whatsover, you’ll receive calls while you’re on your AL or your sick leave but there's a clear double standard when it comes to the bosses' personal time. 3. Messy Workflow: Project delivery was so messy and overloaded. So many layers of approval which kills productivity - the job keeps coming in and there’s no proper rest. Leave approvals are a joke because no one will willingly to take over your job (or capable enough) 4. Lack of Diversity: Please expect a classic Drama Melayu. 5. Don’t Trust Anyone: Conflicts often result in the boss picking sides with their favourites before hearing the whole story. My first time seeing leaders with low EQ. The closest colleague will only support you from behind (literally) and chose to be a bystander when you got ganged up on. HR will not back you up, they’ll listen to your story but nothing major happened to the person. Verdict: This company is a recipe for burnout, constant openings yet no effort to retain existing staffs. This company prioritizes quantity over quality.
