Small business so sometimes encounter a lack of resources and must wear many hats which can get overwhelming at times.

If you want to travel and help lead others solve tough technical problems and choose what work life balance you want over the years, you can do this at Shainin. There are a variety of types of work assignments such as coaching others or direct problem solving assignments. Of course working at many different places technically has grown my skills and confidence at handling challenges. Working at Shainin in multiple assignment roles over multiple years has given me an opportunity to learn many hard valuable lessons in a short time frame and grown my adaptability and situational awareness much faster than if I'd worked at a corporation in the same environment daily. Once one has proven they can perform the standard work they can manage themselves day to day and not not micromanaged by the office on a dailey basis. This freedom to operate when productive is of high value when one has worked in cubicles for years.

Small family owned firm so there is not much opportunity to move into leadership positions at this time. Lots of travel to the client sites is a given in this job.
