Coworkers are great, managers want to be able to do better, you're free to eat rejected orders. They're happy to rehire if you're a student or traveler.

Worked closers, the managers would put me in for 5 hour 45 min shifts, meaning you do not get a lunch break. But on closers you don't get to go home until manager approves it and it was always understaffed, so you always go over by an hour or more. I was often working 8 hour days with no lunch despite being "part-time"
When I asked the manager they said it was easier to just pay out the penalties then deal with us getting a real break. Did not used to be like this, hope it isn't still. Not to mention questionable cleanliness and prepping the beef anywhere we had room including by the trash.
Also just completely unpleasant area, you will be menaced and yelled at by customers. People will trash or steal anything not nailed down and then others will scream at you for it not being clean and fast and having anti-theft measures but will also freak out if their food is stolen. No winning.
