Worst place for contractors - Recensione dipendente - Lead Engineer presso Shaw Development

It’s unfortunate when a disgruntled temporary/contract employee feels the need to criticize a well-liked and respected organization. Shaw Development cares about our employees -- hiring the best people, and taking care of them. It is a very busy environment at a fast growing company, which is why contract employees are utilized to effectively manage the changing workload. These employees are treated fairly with respect like all team members, and they are included in company communications, celebrations and lunches. Contractors and temporary employees have frequently requested full time positions with Shaw Development and the company has hired many of them full time when positions became available. Shaw provides an excellent compensation and benefits package to full time employees. The comments above regarding benefits and pay is between the contractor and his placement agency, not Shaw Development. Sometimes it doesn’t work out when a contractor can’t perform to a satisfactory level, or demonstrates negative behavior that is damaging to the company. This is a disappointing review and the accuracy is very questionable, as Shaw has never had a contractor fill the role of a lead engineer.
