Shell SA is a bureaucratic environment that is very slow to adapt to their ever changing market environment. The company is filled with a lot of bullies who get ahead because of who they know rather than on merit. If you are not a yes man here you won’t fit in and you will feel the wrath of the bullies who are trying to maintain the negative status quo at the expense of true meritorious progress. Their HR is a joke and co-conspirators with these bullies. Confidential information always finds its way to the accused. I am glad I left this rabbit hole.
