Since oil prices are coming down all over the globe, shell is running in loss and all of a sudden decided to open its inhouse IT solution in bangalore since bangalore is the IT talent hub in india. Shell is shutting down many global IT centres including malaysia and canada and has planned to bring all these jobs to bangalore. All this while shell has outsourced its IT part to multiple IT service companies all over the world including India.But due to loss of many big IT projects, these IT services companies have hidden grudges over shell and shell employees and they are the trouble creators in india for successful project transition from their company to shell.Though shell is providing lucrative salary packages in india, but shell lacks proper planning, effective and matured decision making,controlling chaotic environment and strategic thinking. Shell is not at all prepared to protect and support its employees under this situation. Its just that under budget pressure they have decided to go for inhouse IT in bangalore without any risk mitigation plans. Shell IT in bangalore is nothing more than a normal IT start-up company and Shell's brand value does not contribute much to this IT Start-Up. The hires are majorly from Indian service based companies without a mindset of proper vision,professionalism and maturity. Many of the candidiates are not turning up for shell interviews due to this reason.
