Owner told me to my face that profits were disappointing, so I wouldn't be getting a raise and only half of my previous year's bonus. A few years later, he's got enough money to bankroll the football coach at MSU. Good thing he saved that money that me and my family could have really used so that he can help his football team. Clearly has his priorities in order. Maybe in another few years he'll be able to buy his own spaceship. Never been so glad I left a company.

The skills you learn from day 1 at Shift are so valuable and this company is a great start for those who are brand new to the marketing industry. The hands on experience and mentorship you receive is truly priceless. Additionally, the culture at Shift is really wonderful and honestly hard to come by with other companies. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and there are a lot of fun events going on constantly. The vibes at the office can be very lively.

Employees, especially digital marketing consultants and team leads, unfortunately do not receive a livable wage. $39k salary is simply not livable especially in the economy we’re in. I also did not appreciate the company’s decision to mandate 4-days in office and force you to be in office even when all of your work is finished. On some occasions it feels as though employees are being babysat. I also unfortunately do not feel like executives see or appreciate the value of Dealer Support employees. Lastly, there are not a lot of opportunities for growth or salary raises based on performance review.
