- Overworking culture. Too many people working too many hours (8 to 8) on a regular basis.
- AI is used as a buzzword, it is actually a very small component in the codebase/daily work.
- After one year, it gets repetitive. There is little to learn.
- It feels like a consulting job. The data scientist must develop what the clients ask them to do, and present them results. It's mostly about execution.
- There is little room to grow technically. Sometimes you get a chance to actually work on the product, but it's less than 20% of your time.
- There is a lack of senior/experienced developers to learn from, too many juniors.
