I have been a Talent Manager at Shine for three years now and the evolution of the company is night and day. When I started, pressure to bill was crazy, we had goals that climbed throughout the year. I thought about quitting almost daily. This year they changed the commission to make it more fair, before this year I never once made commission, and now i am making commission more regularly. The toronto team is really close knit and we see each other all the time, I like my manager and my colleagues. Flex Fridays, health benefits, and holiday office closure are also nice perks, I worked at smaller agencies and we had NO PERKS! Brands will occasionally send me gifts too when they're gifting my talent. Sometimes I get to go to fun events with my talent too.

Talent doesn't really work with our schedule, sometimes they text on evenings and weekends. Billings are always low in Q1 so it's harder to get commission then. You have to hit benchmarks for billings to get promoted, everything is structured with promotions so even if you're a great people manager you won't get promoted unless you hit billing goals.
