- Unattainable targets and scaling back salaries/commissions for sales people = low attainment + low OTE - High turnover rate in sales as a result - Culture was once great, completely well down hill due with internal bureaucracy and continual hiring when the sales org is already suffering #'s - Company is cutting back on spending in every area you can think of, it's a complete shock from where they were 3 years ago to now (for instance, home internet bills are no longer expensed in a remote-first world...) - Data management and operational efficiency is a joke considering reps had to spend the whole first quarter of last year essentially cleaning up their books and assigning "tiers" to determine which accounts were actually workable.... over 70% of mine were not workable (and keep in mind, your targets are still based off of 100% of these accounts being workable) - They implement new audit and operational rules almost monthly that make your experience even harder to close a deal and hope it actually stays closed for you to get commission (audit team will not count it if even 1 thing is not included or missed) - Mid management leaders are clearly as burnt out and checked out as reps because they get no where in vouching for their people - I know of numerous cases where tenured folks were either fired or let go for not accepting a role change to go to a team that isn't performing, or worse for going on a mental health leave.... completely toxic
