      Good communication ONLY during recruitment. Interesting ad concept.

      The communication gets harsh before training that "You will be sent home" if the presentation is not memorized. The communication gets flat out poor once you start. I was promised Sales Genie reports and they even have it on the first page of their training manual. Then I was told we don't use Sales Genie. I was told I'd get 1 week of field training. The last day of class training I was told I have enough experience to do without field training. Sales "Managers" seem to just be sales reps. When and if they return a call, they are in their car. I asked for additional necessary information 3 times and never received it. They will can you in a day or two if you don't have a sale. I looked up several previous employers that don't have an F with the BBB. They range from A+ to "No Rating" due to no info and no complaints. What a giant waste of time!

      Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback - we view constructive criticism as a good thing! We're sorry to hear that you had a frustrating training experience here at ShopperLocal. Over the past few months we have made several changes to our training program including a three-day orientation class and one-on-one field training for every new rep. You're right - our sales managers are sales reps...but who better to act as your trainer and coach than a skilled professional of that field? We feel that all of our current managers are highly engaged, compassionate professionals. We also have a dedicated sales support team whose only responsibilities are to meet the needs of our field sales reps. We find that the majority of our sales team can easily access all of the resources they need. Since your review, our BBB rating has improved greatly, and everyone here at ShopperLocal continues to strive to make our company great! Again, thanks for your review!

      Wonderful supportive management and owner with an open door policy. They will do anything to keep you from failing if you make an effort to work. I've been reading some of these reviews and it amazes me how people want to make money and have a job, but they aren't willing to actually get up everyday and go to work!....I've been at Shopper Local for 7 months and making six figures only because I do what it takes to get the job done as with any job.. A good sales person knows this. So if someone is willing to work I would totally recommend this company. If not, be on your way! As for the product, its very simple and easy to learn and is very effective. National chains have been using this product for many years. Somethings working otherwise , they wouldn't give us the time of day. As far as disgruntal past employees, I have one thing to say. You should have been consistent and gotten out of bed everyday!!! Good work ethics will take you far. Wanting to be paid for not working will get you "jobless"
