The reseller business is extremely competitive and can be very difficult to remain relevant and differentiate. Sigma makes this much easier with the engineering expertise and amount of resources compared to other VARs. They have the best engineers I've worked with which immediately establish trust and credibility with customers. The people at Sigma truly care about their work and their customers and realize that everyone plays a critical role in moving the company forward

Sigma provides a good work-life balance and the chance to work remotely to accommodate life events. It also pays well; one of the best paying jobs around. The folks "on the ground" are for the most part excellent. They know their jobs, are extremely competent and professional, and usually work as a team. A great place to learn technical skills as the engineers are always willing to take time to explain.

There's too much in-fighting between divisions/branches at Sigma. Sales blames PS, PS blames Sales, money comes from different pots so that each division is looking out for it's own skin rather than trying to do what's best for the company as a whole. Management doesn't address issues until it's too late, and then rather than mentor/train people, they take drastic measures. HR is a joke; trying to on board someone new takes more than 3 weeks and the treatment of people is very capricious.
