If you are reading this and are an arrogant 50+ manager employed there then hand in your resignation, you have been irrelevant for at least the past decade. @HR: if you can't do your job and identify which of your leaders are rotting your institution then start handing in your resignation letters as well. Ask your employees to report in an anonymous way the managers that are difficult. Then do your job and discipline their behaviour. First give a warning, if it continues then show them the door.
