- Seems the company's exes don't want to invest in their employees. - Pay is not very competitive. - Imbalance of work within the company. Certain teams have way more work than others. If you perform at a high level they have no problem loading you up with more and more work, causing longer hours and more room for errors. - Company has an inability to get rid of employees that under perform greatly, causing more work for others who must fix their issues. - Turn over rate. - Lack of resources.

Thank you for your comments. Good to hear your positive thoughts on your work colleagues. Regarding your concerns: Investment in employees - It is early days for our new Head of Learning & Development but we have already advertised internally, undergone an assessment centre and appointed six Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Secondees. A great opportunity for them to undergo considerable training investment, add to their existing skills set, practice the principles and roll out to different areas of the business. Inability to get rid of employees that under-perform - we try to be very discreet concerning this sort of activity and to show respect for those that are not performing as we would hope. Our Performance Management is just one aspect identifying poor performance. Individuals have the issues discussed and those that are not "back on track" swiftly are put on a Personal Improvement Plan". We work hard to improve their performance, but if after putting in the Improvement Plan and try to help the individual improve and help themselves, we do sometimes have to implement an exit plan. But we try to do this quietly and discretely for their own sense of dignity. Turnover rate - higher than we like but this has reduced particularly in the last 18 months. We probe more deeply on the CRF Health Behaviours, individuals motivation and desires. We cannot always offer people what they want when THEY want it, only when they are ready for it. Some will not wait and sadly we lose people with great potential.

Flexible work hours and ample time off. This is a company that has done its best to drive financial performance and keep its workforce through COVID and now the latest geopolitical headwinds. I really like the people I work with, and what we're able to produce.

Like any job there can periods of high stress and pressure. But it does feel like management is trying in earnest to steer the ship in a way that works out best for employees.

Rolling layoffs framed as reorganization all while pushing AI usage. No professional development opportunities - C-Suite is incredibly out of touch and it would serve the company well if they reevaluated their priorities and made the generous call of stepping away from the company and people they do not care about. If you are in a higher paying country, you are in danger.
