While Silva Homes has many positive aspects, there were some challenges that outweighed the pros. Communication was often poor, leaving us feeling like we were the last to know about important updates. During the merger with Abri, things became increasingly difficult, with a noticeable shift towards micromanagement and a growing sense of toxicity within the workplace. This led to heavier workloads and a decline in overall morale. At times, it felt like there was a 'big boys club' mentality, and I personally experienced a sense of being undervalued.
