A workplace with great people but many flaws - Recensione dipendente - Marketing presso SilverDoor

In my experience, SilverDoor has the potential to be a genuinely great place to work, and there are many people within the company who are welcoming and supportive. However, I found that the culture can feel cliquey at times, partly due to age-group dynamics and what came across to me as an informal “boys’ club” atmosphere among some senior staff. In my view, the organisation doesn’t consistently address this or set clear expectations to counteract it. HR communicated well and often expressed positive intentions, but from my perspective the follow-through on meaningful cultural or structural change wasn’t always evident. I also felt that certain decisions at senior levels appeared influenced by personal relationships or favouritism, which affected trust within the workplace. There were situations that, to me, raised concerns around professionalism and accountability, including how some sensitive issues were handled. While I can only speak to what I personally observed or experienced, I often felt that reports of concerning behaviour weren’t addressed as transparently or decisively as they could have been. This created an impression that those in positions of authority were not always held to the same standards as everyone else. Overall, my sense was that there are people within the company who genuinely care and want to improve things, but they may not have the influence needed to make those changes stick. I hope that with time and focus, SilverDoor can better align its intentions with consistent action.
