Vantaggi
Unlimited PTO was nice there are still so great people in the organization
Svantaggi
Where shall I start First: the motto of “No Ego” is just to get you in the door. The ego flexing was constant and team members thoughts and ideas were often pushed aside unless they wanted to be used by other team members Second: Engineering teams are driven by fear. New management that was put in place drove constant fear of being fired, even though those leaders did not have much of a clue on how to fix things. As a team member you should trust your leadership and that certainly is not the case. Third: development and engineering practices are extremely outdated. Fourth and probably one of the most important: The hr team is not there for the employee at all. They do put on a happy face but when it comes to making sure an employee is being treated fairly, they fail. They just take the side of management and do not even attempt to understand the employees side of things Fifth: The organization does not value you. If you don’t fit a specific mold then you are outcast from the rest of the team. Sixth: Teamwork, this is not something valued at all. Seventh: Management, there are managers in this organization that have no skills to manage people or projects. They care more about a title than what it means to be a manager In closing think long and hard about joining this organization. They do a great job selling the company but once you get in it’s a very different story. I lost a lot of sleep and had great anxiety when I worked there. The best thing I did for my personal sanity and career was to move on.
