The best place ever with the best CEO ever

Vyne was horrible and ruined this company

Our company is very cultured and diverse which I love. We have a very laid back yet diligent environment. You would think that because we're a startup, the pandemic would have affected us horribly. But this pandemic was the best thing that has happened to Simplifeye, business-wise. It's insane how quickly things were progressing.

Even though, as a whole, the company has been doing great, I can't say things are all rainbows and butterflies on the inside. During this time management has every single department staying on zoom from the moment they log on to the moment they log off. No other company does this. It is absolutely insane. They say that want to keep the culture going so that we have the same office vibes but it's really not necessary. Honestly, it just seems like they want to know if we're doing our work or not. However, we don't need to be on zoom all day for them to know if we're getting our work done or not. Quite honestly, I think I would be more productive without the cameras. Having eyes on you at all times is very weird and distracting. Another thing is that this a rule they implemented without consulting with any of the employees. We're in our homes which is our personal space, it's an invasion of privacy. Also, we're all adults...we do not need a baby sitter. This is next level micromanaging and quite honestly, a big turn off.
