To address your concerns, there are challenges within the rental car industry that all companies and employees will face. Under certain circumstances we may not have the exact vehicle that a customer wanted depending on seasonality, late returns, etc. In these cases Rental Agents have the opportunity to provide the most comparable vehicle to the customer that would closely match their traveling needs. Our Fleet Planner’s and Mangers alike work very hard to forecast needed vehicles based off of reservations and market demands. Of course, nothing can be exact, but forecasting demand on an hourly basis improves our fleet availability.
Fraud is grounds for termination at Sixt. Any employee who commits fraud is automatically flagged on our reports. There is no reason to commit fraud in order to earn commission. All of our employees use riotous ways of selling that offer incentives and they receive a great return from our training practices. Likewise, there is no need to ever lie to a customer. Sixt prides itself on making customers feel as if they just entered into a five start hotel and this is exactly what we expect our agents to embody at the counter.
