Vantaggi
There's simply no other company like Skiddle. It has a friendly, laid back atmosphere where you're encouraged to display your individuality and personality. I love that there's no uniform. You're also encouraged to be authentic by attending events. I've worked at Skiddle for over 7 years now and after the most challenging 12 months of my career, I'm looking forward to the return of events and to Skiddle absolutely smashing it. Furthermore, I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for this year's Christmas do! Ben and Rich (CEOs) aren't your regular bosses. They're like chalk and cheese and just like anyone, have their flaws but are both very decent at heart. The Skiddle family is made up of talented and like-minded individuals and I just couldn't imagine working anywhere else, with anyone else. Lastly, there's plenty of opportunities to get involved in a wide variety of projects and your Skiddle career is what you make of it. If, like me, you like to live and breathe work and are one of the lucky few to get a job at Skiddle, then be sure to grab the opportunity with both hands and make the absolute most of it.
Svantaggi
I often use the phrase 'embrace the madness'. By nature, the events industry is fast-paced and forever evolving. If you can't deal with change or adapt quickly then Skiddle isn't the place for you. Work is always the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing before I go to sleep. I often work late, will be the last person to leave the office and will always put in overtime at the weekend. As such, my work life balance isn't as good as it could be. That being said, I've been told many a time that I'm not expected to do any extra and it's more so a reflection of how dedicated I am to the role.
