Not sure what everyone is complaining about, this is a great job-I make good money and have a pretty flexible schedule. If you cannot work with a commission plan and minimum standards, then you should not be in sales!

It gets really busy and you have to be able to stay on top of your clients. Keep open communication with your sales team.

They laid off the CFO with the explanation that they are going to institute a “shared services” model with the owners of SkillPath, Graceland University. What a recipe for disaster! Shared finance and HR. Bottom line is that SP will be tasked with managing both functions so Graceland essentially gets free back office support. Keep in mind a few things: Graceland leadership has ZERO experience running a business. The HR leader at SP is the epitome of the Peter Principle, and is overwhelmed just “trying” to do her job as it is. The cherry on top of all of this is the SP COO is a lackluster under performer who has no understanding of financial statements of how to read/interpret them.
