Vantaggi
The clients are great and so are some coworkers.
Svantaggi
So many.
1. All they care about is profit. They do not care about you as an employee. You’re repeatedly referred to as “production”. If you’re not producing enough, 85% billable hours, that’s a performance issue. They will deny PTO if you’re not reaching these goals. Benefits being tied to revenue goals is a horrible business practice.
2. They have leadership in place that are in over their heads. They have individuals managing teams, where the direct reports have more experience than them by 10+ years, so they are not a resource to the team, just a micromanager for the organization. The HR director of the company has less experience than a lot of the team. Does not adhere to simple compliance, putting the company at risk. It’s an HR company, how is that even possible?
3. The CEO said that he doesn’t need to pay for experienced HR professionals when he could hire someone with 5 years or less experience and they can use AI to make up for their lack of experience.
4. Employees are leaving left and right. It’s systemic. They recognize that they are experiencing a “five alarm fire” as they’ve put it. But they’re doing absolutely nothing to stop it or retain the employees they have.
4. Pay is horrible. They are trying to hire but are not successful. The salary they are offering is more than what their current employees make, which may also contribute to people leaving.
I could go on and on. Just look up what private equity firms are like to work for, it’s terrible. They’re buying up as many small HR businesses that they can in as short of time as possible so they can sell it off for a profit. They don’t care about the employees, just money. Stay away for working here. It will suck the life right out of you.
