- overcommits to clients and forces consultants to work very long hours - useless people leaders who don’t help out their employees I was blinded with a layoff out of nowhere. No warning, just sent a random meeting in a Friday and told I’m fired after being on the bench for exactly 12 weeks. Was told 2 weeks before to keep focusing on my certifications and that I’ll be on a project in 2 weeks. What’s funny is they’re planning to double the organization in size but are laying people off.. how does that make sense? This company has lost what it means to be “fiercely human” and treats their employees like a number in a spreadsheet. Once all the long time employees of 15+ years started leaving my organization I should’ve taken that as a sign to do the same.

Collaboration is routinely replaced by a self-service model of training videos and help articles. •These recurring shifts are designed to manufacture the appearance of fiscal stability for the benefit of external stakeholders and clients, while leaving core operational deficits unaddressed. •Organizational maturity is low. Teams operate in deep silos, the internal tech stack is outdated, and there is a distinct lack of adequate project and event management software.
