Vantaggi
Having a job is better than unemployment
Svantaggi
First red flag was total lack of traditional American politeness in the email communication. I was invited to interview a month after I had applied for an engineering position. At the interview I was told that the position is no longer available but there was a technician one now. Ops…. Second red flag. I should have been told prior to the interview. Then Albert waved the red flag in front of my eyes, he added ‘which (the technician position) was better than your current occupation….” Ops…. Again! How can a person who barely knows my full name can know what is better for me?! So total waste of time. Half a year later I applied for ‘QA Tester’ not knowing I applied in the same company but this time I accepted the position. Knowing what I wanted I was promised that I would participate in projects under his personal control. My engineering skills would be used when I don’t have devices to test, my future work place was showed me. And I work a couple of days there, then I was moved to another desk in different department and was given to assemble products. Ops… another red flag, I was promised that tool would be provided for me, but a week later I was ordered to buy myself. There is a sign “No cell phone use” on the restroom doors, I am curious to know how this rule is enforced. So, low payment plus too many signals that there is nothing worth in that company. Statements posted before that employees are objects of jokes and verbally abused by the boss and there are products not made in USA are true.
