Vantaggi
I worked at SmartMedia Tech and had the opportunity to be part of some truly amazing projects. The company attracts some of the most intelligent and hardworking individuals I've ever met. The team is filled with individuals who are not only highly skilled but also genuinely passionate about their work. Working alongside such motivated and talented colleagues was a constant source of inspiration, and it created a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that enhanced the quality of our projects. The projects I got to work on were genuinely cool, and we had the privilege of working with amazing clients. Seeing our work come to life and making an impact on the city was a source of pride for all of us. Moreover, the emphasis on delivering high-quality work was evident in every aspect of the company. SmartMedia Tech takes great pride in maintaining a standard of excellence, which reflects in the final deliverables. The commitment to producing outstanding work for clients was evident at all levels of the organization, making it a rewarding and fulfilling environment for anyone who values professionalism and quality.
Svantaggi
-one significant concern I had during my time there was the issue of underpayment. It was disheartening to witness that every person who contributed to the hands-on work was severely underpaid. Additionally, bonuses were promised based on performance and completion of QPPs, but unfortunately, these promises were rarely fulfilled, leaving employees feeling undervalued and disheartened. -Another challenge was certain communication and leadership issues within the management team. This occasionally made it difficult to work efficiently -Furthermore, I found the "work culture" at SmartMedia Tech to be somewhat forced. The company attempted to foster a specific culture by adding activities that took up valuable time, but they didn't resonate with most employees. It would have been more beneficial to focus on creating a genuine and inclusive culture based on the values and needs of the team. -Moreover, there was a significant expectation to work long hours and overtime, which could lead to burnout and a poor work-life balance for some employees.
