- Lots of freedom/Work-Life Balance - The manager did genuinely care about the well-being of employees i.e. their mental health, families, etc. - The manager sought feedback regularly. After every weekly one-on-one she would ask how she could help me in my job, what I was struggling with, etc. - Overall a very well-intentioned and dedicated manager.

- Upper management - The manager was good, but the C-suite and HR caused significant frustrations at times. -Lots of avoidable busy work although it did improve throughout my employment. -Below industry pay. - Monthly (sometimes weekly) changes to the day-to-day strategies which can be frustrating. - Very long path to legit promotion (AE) - A change in quota/commission payouts led to employees getting paid less. Their awfully low base pay was justified at the time of hiring because of how the commission was structured (each month that you hit quota you would receive a permanent base increase). Then they changed that structure so that it was nearly twice as difficult to build up your base, which felt like a bait and switch on some level.

Amazing product market fit considering how AI is changing the localization world. AI is mandate for every employee at the company and leadership has given us the tools to adopt it an astronomical pace. This is not something that is micro managed and employees have full autonomy to build and present to their colleagues. Selling at Smartling means working with the biggest companies in the world. In most cases it isn't transactional but once a company sees the value Smartling brings to the table it's hard for them to choose a competitor.

Svantaggi

Very few but managing so many projects with AI at once takes a lot of focus. I wouldn't have it any other way.
