I had a great experience working at Smiley. As a brand manager for APAC, I was based in London then had an amazing opportunity to help setup the APAC office in HK. I learnt a lot about licensing in Asia. China was a huge focus for the brand and business was incredibly strong with some very influential collaborations. I was able to travel frequently between London, HK and Shanghai and develop my skills with the support of the CEO . He encouraged my Mandarin studies. I learnt so much about the different departments, licensing, strategy and cross culture business development. I had hands-on experience with key licensees Loved the team I worked with. Smiley is such an international and diverse place to work with staff from all over the globe, Great work atmosphere and team spirit
