As the company scaled, the culture shifted toward more corporate and numbers-driven priorities (which in itself is understandable from a scaling perspective for a growing org). However, over time some employees felt there was less room for human flexibility, mentorships, or context around temporary performance dips and individual circumstances. Several long-tenured contributors appeared to feel increasingly interchangeable rather than invested in, while decision-making became more centralized and detached from the day-to-day realities of certain teams.
