You'd be hard pressed to find better coworkers and a more welcoming environment. We're given the autonomy to do great work and the entire team is bought in to completing what they have to do.

A great deal of importance is placed on innovation, but finding the time to devote to it can result in an internal conflict of interest.

By far, the best part of Smooth Fusion are the people. It's a smaller company and each person is valued and has a say in the direction the company will go. They have a diverse list of clients and the work is changing and interesting. Pay is good and benefits are more than fair. Finally Smooth Fusion is transitioning into an ESOP allowing employees to own part of the company.

There aren't many cons. While the client list is diverse, the work is almost primarily enterprise websites or Sitefinity CMS sites. It would be interesting to have new types of projects. Also most people work remote so bonding with the team is harder and takes more intentionality to stay connected and keep a fun culture.
