Vantaggi

Occasional lunch paid for by the owner

Svantaggi

No room for advancement due to having several roles unfulfilled, and the owner refuses to hire. Everyone in the company is overworked because of juggling several roles, projects and customer accounts. There is no flexibility in scheduling, and you are unspokenly expected to work a minimum of 45-50 hours a week. In an 8 month time span, 6 employees have left the company for various reasons due to the way the company has been run. Day to day workload varies, as the company is not very well organized with priorities. Work efforts are not fully designed before submitted to the SDLC. Management and Owners are not in sync, you will never hear the same instructions from mgmt/owner. Owner & Management are heavily into micromanaging, and are quick to play favorites. For the company only having 20 employees between 2 locations, they are very strict on policies and are discriminatory to people with disabilities.

Thank you for your post. We apologize that you are feeling distress while working with us here at SnapCount and would like to work alongside you to change this as soon as possible. The inflexibility and intolerance you describe does not align with our core values, policies, or purpose as a team. We encourage you to reach out to us about your specific concerns so we can address them accordingly. We have multiple avenues available to you to share your concerns. Please reach out to your supervisor, Director of People, or if you would prefer to stay anonymous, we do offer an Employee Net Promoter Survey two times a year to gather feedback, as well. While we welcome all feedback with the desire to always improve, we also hope to correct some of the misinformation in your review. Regarding the work hours mentioned, our core hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with the ability to enjoy flexible start and stop times according to each team member’s own schedule (described below). No one is ever pressured to work outside these hours. Regarding a few departing team members, In the past eight-month time span, we have had three team members (not six) leave our company. All three team members desired to make a big change in career. We worked side by side with them to determine what their needs were and evaluated together if we had a current opening or could create a position that would be better suited for them and the company goals we have set for the calendar year. These tough decisions were made together and on excellent terms. One of our core values is to Help Other’s Achieve their Dreams. We supported all three of them in their search for a different dream career by providing them time off for interviewing, resume review and assistance, and additional help in seeking out new employment opportunities. While it is correct that we have not refilled these positions, we also did not make those decisions in a vacuum. We reviewed feedback from exit interviews, had discussions with our current team members about the open roles, and also looked at how the pandemic was affecting our team (two of the three positions became open in mid-late March). The team’s input was weighted heavily in those decisions. In all three openings, the team shared they did not feel a new team member in the same position would move us forward. Similarly, 2 years ago, we used team member feedback again to create policies for Flexible Working Arrangements, that allow team members to flex their scheduling around our core business hours and have additional opportunities to work from home. During the time of our pandemic, we relaxed these policies even more and went to a full remote workforce. We have informed our team members they are not required to come back to the office at this time and can continue to work remotely and discuss even more flexible arrangements to assist them with caring for loved ones at home during this time. Lastly, there are a couple policies we are strict about and have not relaxed since their inception, and that is our Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity policies. We are committed to providing a professional work environment that is free of unlawful discrimination and harassment. After seeing this review, per our policy, we did a prompt and thorough investigation of the claim of discrimination against people with disabilities and have found this claim to be 100% false. We take complaints like this one very seriously here at SnapCount. If you (or any of our team members) have been witness to or a victim of discrimination, we ask you please contact us immediately (Rebecca, Director of People) with more information so we can conduct a secondary investigation and take corrective measures, if necessary.

Svantaggi

Keeping a lean team leads to some limitation in "Title" advancement. However, work effort and growth is recognized appropriately given that limitation.

Owners listen to workers. It is a nice collaborative environment where you can wear many hats and get involved.

Svantaggi

If you are looking to move up the corporate ladder this may not be the place for you. We are all hard workers but titles are not a thing we strive for.
