Reasons why working at SAM is good? The number one reason for me is not the leading technology in the business, not even the infinitely superior knowledge of my fellow engineers (I could wax lyrical about this - when we find an issue with our software/firmware its usually fixed in hours not days!). For me the best thing about this company is the extremely good work ethic - nothing is too much trouble for us to deliver our products to the customer. A recent client commented on how we are the only manufacturer who we'll dedicate our entire on site time to them, putting in all hours to get the job done - and trust me it's not done begrudgingly, we want to deliver the best solution possible every time.

The merger between Quantel and Snell Group has not been easy. To the outside world we are one company, but internally we are still split into at least two companies. There has been many positive moves to rectify this, but it is moving far too slowly

New CEO who has transformed the business with very clear objectives and communication. Above this there has been serious investment across all areas of the business to strengthen the resources and skills to develop, market, sell and service some great products.
