      Younger and more dynamic than other similar utilities. There are a lot of smart people here. Most people work hard.

      There is an expectation that after normal hours work is the norm, and people routinely work on the weekends. Benefits are really terrible when compared to other similar utilities (especially paternity leave - you only get 6 weeks). Pay is well below market rate.

      Currently going through layoffs due to shortfalls in budgeting allowed by the state. California has planned for decarbonization of the state, mid to long range outlook not promising. Currently requires 4 days in the office.
