You get to work with some of the biggest clients in the space, learn the fundamentals, work with others fresh out of college, and have access to all major social media platforms and their representatives. The client services team are some of the best at presentation and professionalism in our space. Once a trailblazer in the space with great culture, it has now been starved of innovation by constant reorganization and restructure with no real vision behind them. Because of the lack of innovation and the fast-changing nature of the space, it is quickly becoming a dinosaur. The company lived on the premise of audience-first activation and invested in technology for targeting and machine learning optimizations. However, Facebook innovated technology in the same direction with enhanced targeting and its Campaign Budget Optimization feature. Ultimately, if you even ask Facebook what the most important optimization lever is, they would not say audience activation. In some teams, the culture can be toxic with incessant gossip, favoritism, and negative reinforcement from mid-management that makes it hard to push through an already demanding job.
