Some of the people are great, nice location, salary is average.

Some of the managers are maybe the most incompetent people I have ever met, still they think they are awesome. It is almost funny. I actually think they went too far in pushing women to management positions. There is kind of a man-hating atmosphere. I am an equalist, not matter your gender or background, you should be judged on your skills and character. At Softonic there is a poisonous feminist trend. You will scare away talent just because they happen to be male.

Great company to work for in EUROPE but not USA. Good working spirit and a family feel in Barcelona. In Barcelona they really make you feel like you are part of something big. Many perks like massage, ability to travel to Barcelona, snacks and coffee in the offices.

USA culture/ operations are completely different from Europe. USA is not focused on personal development or strengthening the team but on very aggressive sales goals under strict micro-management. Salaries between males and females for the same position with similar goals can vary by $30,000 base (male dominated). Determine the goals prior to hire so you can seek compensation that reflects your goals.
