This is very unique as it provides the small-business culture (40-50 people) but with the backing, resources, and job security of a multinational company. Very long procurement cycles in the government requires a lot of patience and tenacity. Due to work with the government there is occasionally extra paperwork to do or hoops to jump through (either to make something happen or compliance regulations) - this really isn't a big deal though.
