Vantaggi
( 1 ) AUTONOMY IN A FLAT SYSTEM
The lack of a complex middle-management layer means there isn't a manager constantly breathing down your neck or putting unnecessary pressure on your daily tasks. You have the freedom to work independently without being micromanaged by multiple layers of bosses.
( 2 ) SUPPORTIVE SENIOR COLLEAGUES
There are some genuinely humble and highly skilled senior developers in the company who are always ready to help and support others. Even though their efforts often go unrecognized by the Boss, these individuals make the day-to-day work much more bearable.
Svantaggi
( 1 ) WEAPONIZED PERFORMANCE REVIEWS
The "flat system" is used as a trap to suppress growth. They don't steal credit, because they never count it. they make your achievements completely vanish by obsessively focusing on minor or fabricated faults. Management will repeat these lies to humble employees over and over again, specifically leading up to appraisal cycles, just to avoid giving a fair increment.
( 2 ) STUBBORN MICROMANAGEMENT
The co-founders manage everything with a very rigid and stubborn mindset. They refuse to listen to experts or accept new ideas. It is strictly a "my way or the highway" environment that kills any form of professional growth or technical innovation.
( 3 ) DEPLORABLE HYGIENE ISSUES
For an IT company, the basic facilities are unacceptable. The washrooms frequently lack water for 3 to 5 days a week. It is embarrassing to work in an environment where basic human hygiene and employee health are not a priority.
( 4 ) RESPECT IS A ONE-WAY STREET
Leadership does not know how to treat employees with dignity. Management is rough and unprofessional in their communication, yet they expect employees to maintain world-class professional standards. The double standards and lack of mutual respect are exhausting.
( 5 ) DELUSIONAL COMPANY EGO
Management constantly blabbers about being the "best," but they are completely out of touch with reality. The company’s performance and standards are actually well below average. They are operating in a bubble and desperately need a bitter reality check.
( 6 ) TOXIC FAVORITISM
Management has a habit of "putting on a pedestal" certain senior employees who do nothing but blame and complain about juniors. While the humble and truly helpful seniors are ignored, the toxic ones are given all the importance, which creates a very discouraging atmosphere for the rest of the team.
