Vantaggi
The owners are both very nice people, and their ability to execute solar contracts is consistent. They provide good quality leads and have a good customer facing reputation online. They have a small mom and pops feeling to the company and are willing to go the extra mile on their projects and customer service is fast and responsive. The CEO is very knowledgeable and makes himself available via email and the CFO is more present and active with sales development and supports new ideas and desires to create improvements
Svantaggi
The left hand is often not taking to the right hand and the operations and business development aren’t connected except via email so there’s no system to allow notes and information to be tracked internally thus leaving the people that work here a bit discombobulated. The company over-works its sales people with absolutely no benefits and lower commission rates than majority of competitors: don’t count on making the amount of money they project in interviews. They also lack any reasonable type of accounting system so getting paid is a tracking nightmare that will make you uneasy for sure! I’ve been working with them for 4+ years and still seeking payment on deals owed from past years. Everyone in sales is a 1099. The drive time to appointments can be agonizing, and the pricing system they have is not very competitive at all so you’ll often cut your commission so low it almost makes no sense. Retention is low, I’ve been with them the longest and seen most sales reps leave the business within first 6-8 months after working there. The engineering/ops team doesn’t provide training on new products and has very little support if your not already quite experienced in solar. Biggest complaint is that they locked access to my account and stopped paying me during COVID19 and still haven’t made any effort to resolve a large amount of past due commissions owed, they left me stranded in the worst time and still haven’t paid what they owe
