The company has a toxic culture and the upper management sold out to GE a few years back and left some of our overseas employees stuck without a visa and got them sent back to a certain South American country that is certainly known for human rights violations.

Pay as contractor is decent but that’s set by agency so nothing to do with them

No progression at all, if you know how to improve or do something, no you don’t. Just keep ticking things over, race to the bottom
