These issues highlight a lack of attention to detail within HR and overall process inefficiencies. If you value a well-structured and competent HR department, this may not be the best fit.

In my 13-year career as an Executive Assistant, this has been the most challenging workplace I’ve encountered. The company’s performance appraisal process lacks transparency, with many employees receiving misleading feedback about their skills and contributions. Around appraisal time, a significant portion of the workforce is placed on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and expectations frequently shift even when goals are met. HR appears to have limited knowledge of Massachusetts labor laws, leading to ongoing compliance issues. Employees are often pressured into signing HR documents that lack company branding and contain questionable claims. The workplace culture is heavily male-dominated, where women's voices are often dismissed, and dissenting opinions are silenced. Decision-making is not data-driven but rather guided by leadership’s subjective preferences. Additionally, professionalism within the organization is inconsistent. In one instance, I had to address inappropriate behavior involving an HR representative and a senior executive who was visibly uncomfortable. If you are seeking a company that values transparency, ethical leadership, and a supportive culture, this may not be the right fit.

Le persone. Un lavoro e, in ultima analisi, una carriera sono costruiti dalle persone con cui lavori, e SG ha alcune delle persone più straordinarie con cui abbia mai lavorato o per cui abbia mai lavorato. Sono ispirato dal duro lavoro dei miei colleghi qui che mi sfidano costantemente a dare il meglio di me. Ognuno qui è in grado di dare il suo contributo oltre la descrizione del proprio lavoro, il che (per me) rende ogni giorno interessante e mi mantiene motivato. Lavorare con team in tutto il mondo.

Come organizzazione ancora molto in fase imprenditoriale, i potenziali dipendenti devono considerare quanta struttura necessitano o a cui sono abituati. Anche se personalmente prospero in ambienti meno strutturati e più agili, non è per tutti. Spesso dobbiamo rimboccarci le maniche e portare a termine un lavoro per il quale altre aziende più grandi hanno spesso grandi team a cui dare una mano. Ma devi amare possedere ciò che fai ogni giorno e sapere che i tuoi contributi personali stanno facendo una vera differenza ogni giorno. Anche le sfide del fuso orario a volte sono difficili da gestire.
