Reading the recent review "on the way up" brought back all the negatives of working there. For this individual to completely discount the experiences and feelings of so many others, and put it all down to disgruntlement from restructures, is just typical of the way the company operates. And so is their suggested solution - more spin on social media?? South32 favours superficiality over substance, and quick lazy solutions over real effort. And when have senior leaders ever admitted to their mistakes? The core problem is that, in reality, they refuse to acknowledge them at all. Redundancy is just the icing on the cake; the real damage comes from working there, day in day out. And having been out for a little while redundancy actually seems like a favour, because life is so much better on the other side.
