The founder of SparkLit puts in great effort to make this company a fantastic resource for its customers, and an amazing work environment for its employees. Rajiv is a team builder, which shows in the ways that he encourages us to work and play together. The open concept layout of the office facilitates information sharing and support, and the use of apps such as Slack and Flow allows for optimal communication. Having benefits is also a great comfort that we all enjoy. Rajiv sponsored and organized a group volunteering event, where we served breakfast at Our Place Society before coming in to work. We have gym memberships together so we can encourage each other to live healthier, and a ping pong table for when we need to give our minds a light-hearted break. Another way we bond is over food: for lunch on Wednesdays we have pizza delivered to the office, and Thursdays we explore the neighbourhood to find a local business to support. We are able to focus on, and sincerely care about, the quality of our services and products because we feel cared for. I try to avoid cliches, but it really is the best job I have had, the best boss I have worked for, and I enjoy coming to work every day.

I've worked at SparkLIT for almost a year and have throughly enjoyed my time here thus far! Rajiv is extremely thoughtful and always goes the extra mile to ensure that his team is taken care of (I injured my back a few months into working at SparkLIT and Rajiv ordered me an adjustable height desk so I could stand or sit, and sent me for a massage on his dime!). Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and we're always doing activities and hanging out outside of work. We recently went to Rifflandia 2016 together which was a blast (Rajiv bought us all VIP tickets as a way to celebrate a good summer). SparkLIT offers a great work/life balance with unlimited vacation days and flexibility of working hours if necessary (generally 9-5, but if you need to start early/leave early ect). We're offered great benefits, a gym membership, and the office always has espresso and snacks! We also have a ping pong table and get pizza delivered every second Wednesday.

I get bored of playing Ping Pong against the same people, and sometimes on Pizza Wednesdays they don't order my favourite kind (Garlic).
