The product works and the people building it are talented. That’s genuinely true and the only reason this isn’t one star.

Leadership claims transparency but doesn’t practice it. Reactive, immature, and genuinely clueless about the impact they have on their own team. The GTM org went 90 days without knowing how they were getting paid and when the comp plan finally arrived the day before the last day of the quarter, leadership seemed annoyed that people had questions. That’s not a scaling pain, that’s a management team that expects compliance. The talent is here. The product is real. Leadership is the ceiling.

For individuals who enjoy a fast-paced startup environment, there is plenty of opportunity to make an impact.

Processes and organizational structure can be inconsistent, making it difficult for teams to operate efficiently at scale. Onboarding and training are limited, leaving many employees to learn through trial and error. Employee turnover has been higher than expected in some areas, which can create additional challenges for continuity and execution. There is also an opportunity for leadership to spend more time gathering feedback from customer-facing teams and field employees, as they often have valuable insights into customer needs, market conditions, and operational challenges that could help inform strategic decisions.
