The work is relatively easy. A full time mechanic like myself can keep very busy with a lot of work that is simple and less demanding then other places.

Outside of the simplicity of work, everything else is a con. The average age of employee here is 16-18 so the leadership treats everyone like they are kids even if your well above that age bracket. There are very few positions here that have benefits so if you have a family you should seek else where to give them the benefits they may need The pay is low. Can't complain too much about pay as we all accept the terms before we begin to work but with low pay and no benefits, it leaves room to desire work elsewhere. The employee restrictions are quite ridiculous. We are not allowed fountain drinks even if we pay for them because they are concerned with cups being left at work stations. Another reason is because of health issues, being in Texas it gets hot in the summer so they want you to only have hydrating fluids during the day and have threatened many times to terminate if caught withe caffeinated drinks. However they allow you to buy from the break room soda machine that carries management stocked drinks caffeinated drinks... majority of the time they are sold out. I've brought this up a few times and one of which I was told that they didn't need a drink when they eat so why do I? The scheduling makes it difficult to work. In a park that has a need for 2 attendants to work each track they will set the schedule that allows only one. They way the management treats the attendants also makes the majority of them quit leaving a few of them to do everyone's job. This allows room for injuries which is not uncommon at this job Since I have been here, Over 20 track attendants have come and gone, and around 6 mechanics have quit. This is in a span of less then 6 months They way the management treats the lower employees is unacceptable
