Very political, back-stabbing atmosphere - uncompetitive compensation - Recensione dipendente - IT (Toronto) presso Spin Master

Culture is out of control - I've never seen so many people who frown when you smile at them in the hallway and then sport a huge smile a second later when a senior person walks by. They're paying the price - turnover is very high - and it doesn't help that they didn't pay a bonus for 2011 (unceremoniously announced via e-mail). Compensation is also very uncompetitive. Even worse, the IT group is very short-sighted - focused mainly on bandaid solutions instead of really solving problems.
