I served in Spinny for 3years and 2 months. I am writing this to share my work opinion here. I really enjoyed working in Spinny for the past 3 years, faced all ups, downs and turned back with much strength and positivity irrespective of all the transitions of several departments, I have learnt a lot about the programmes and products of Spinny. I really appreciate and I am more thankful to provide me such a great opportunity to work with such a reputed company "SPINNY" in many different departments in a very short period of time.

I am writing this to bring to your notice that the work atmosphere at Spinny, especially in my current department, is hampering my Mental Health and it feels like Mental Harassment because of the current middle management which is very much partial in terms of work process and not at all supportive in real time. I was working in the INSIDE-SALES team of NCR. I do accept and agree that I am a ground level Employee but this doesn't mean that I am not knowledgeable enough to understand the things. Hence, HR herself Ms. Suchita is asking for Resignation basis of Non-performanceI wherein, I do not agree with FORCE RESIGNATION or CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL. As it's against my wish and it's Non-Voluntary Resignation, you people are harassing me to resign and it feels like a pressure on me. If any plans to terminate then as per company norms, it is lawful for employees to leave their jobs as per labour court. Depending on the terms of the agreement, the notice time may be anywhere from 15 days and three months or else I would expect 12-26 week pay with a Termination letter as per labour court law I appreciate and thank the management for scheduling a meeting on the same. But again I am not happy with your justifications and clarifications provided. I requested a stay order and management denied. So now I am ready to serve notice period and complete all my exit formalities. But, HR Suchita is stating that its a company protocol of asking employees to resign non-voluntarily and also she is stating that extended PIP was itself notice period, if this is the case why this wasn't communicated or informed to me on a real time basis ???? NEED CLARIFICATION ON THE SAME. I still stick to my words and don't agree with the HR decisions since it's out of company terms and conditions, I would not like to resign from my end, and if the company wants to terminate then you can proceed as per labour court laws. My Mental Peace is getting Harassed, discussions are happening and no proper justifications are being given. So, as per Company Policy, they are again asking for FORCE RESIGNATION or CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL which is again a Non-Voluntary Resignation. Because, as per Labour Court Law - Valid reasons for dismissal is Misconduct, illegal activity such as stealing or revealing trade secrets, dishonesty, harassing or disrupting other workers, and not on basis of Performance. The ID Act specifies the notice requirement of at least a month or a 3 month pay in lieu thereof to terminate a female employee who has completed a service of at least one year of service along with payment of retrenchment compensation which is 15 days' pay for every completed year of service. The notice usually specifies a timeframe, typically around 15 days or 3 Months. If no corrective action is taken within this period. Even if it is not being considered now then I would proceed legally in the Labour Court. If the termination is pre-planned, for a reason such as redundancy, you will need to provide the employee with a notice period of at least 30 days, or 3 month's salary which is legally my right, before you terminate. This is a clause mentioned in the India (country's) labour laws and you need to adhere to it. If Company terminates then a Company is liable to pay 12-26 week or 3 Months pay with a Termination letter as well, as per Labour Court Law. As per, the Employment Act of India - The right to a fair and equitable compensation; The right to a safe and healthy working environment; and. The right to receive timely notice upon termination. Thus, HR has not replied to my mail and deactivated my all accounts in Spinny, my official Gmail account, Slack, and Darwin box. And she has sent a Termination Mail. I strongly believe that management would help me with proper justification and justice.

Team structure is lean and analysts are actually treated like human. Merit and Handwork are rewarded. Diverse set of problems statements and decent amount of time to work on it makes it a great place to improve your knowledge and build your expertise. Individual abilities and interests are weighted in work allotment.

Since analytics are a support team to product team( like in many organizations) ad-hoc projects and random data requirements can exhaust analysts for no reason(at times).

Management of Product analytics team is hostile. They will mistreat you, bully you, overload with work, make you manipulate data to fit specific stories to get apprise from their managers. I worked here for sometime and the management was extremely hostile and hard to work with. Would not recommend
