Talented and helpful team: You can always, time permitting, talk to the team. People here are willing not only to listen but to help as well Lots of learning opportunites: I got to learn a ton of stuff that was helpful in future coursework as a grad student as well. As an intern here you'll be encouraged to ask questions and give honest feedback. You'll also receive honest feedback yourself. Overall, this place will give you the opportunity to grow as an engineer. Superb work culture: You are going to have fun working here. If you are a foodie you are in for a treat. People here know their food. Chance to do good: The team here is incredibly passionate about the mission and it shows. You can see the way your work is going to impact the lives of people. Interesting Conversations: This is a multicultural team and people here have a wide variety of interests. You'll get to have some really fun conversations here.

Fast paced work environment if you are not used to working at a fast pace already.

-People are very smart and talented (including literal rocket scientists) yet down-to-earth and funny. -The company genuinely cares a lot about its culture and making sure that people are happy. -If you like getting to try new things and given opportunities to grow, then this is the place for you. -Company is mission-driven and wants to make life better for patients with its solutions. -There aren't that many other companies doing what we are doing, so it is an exciting place to be in.

-The flip side of getting to try new things is that you may need to do things that you didn't expect would come with your specific job function. In other words, you would be expected to wear many hats. For that reason, I would not recommend working here if you are not comfortable with ambiguity. -Since it is a small company and growing, long hours can be a part of the package.
