Great Entry Level Job for Technologist - Recensione dipendente - Mechanical Technologist presso Stantec

Technologists will produce drawings and that is it, there is no opportunity for design experience in this place, they train their technologists as specialized drafters. Management does not acknowledge past experience before Stantec, leading to mediocre pay related to overall years of experience. Very demanding clients resulting in very aggressive deadlines (extensive overtime is almost a requirement there) therefore work/life balance is non-existent. Overall quality of work for local clients has been in a constant decline in the past 5 years, leading to loss of local clients.
