They provide full support when you are sent out on project and will ensure you have the correct training before being deployed. The training I received was of a decent standard, and helped me learn some tools key to the testing industry. I am a new consultant who has only been at the company for 3 months, and I know there is more training to come, which is a good thing as it shows StarBase are committed to your growth as an individual.

Potential downsides are being on the move a lot - I had to move from quite far away to be close to the office, only to be sent on project that required an hour+ commute. Be aware of how much you are willing to spend on a relocation. However, if there is ever a need to stay overnight, such as travelling an unreasonable distance, StarBase will pay for your overnight and food etc. They also cover all travel to clients, meaning although i had a long commute I was reimbursed.

Great development program for new graduates which helps build skills needed for future career. Due to its small size, you get to converse with senior managment more than you would normally in a larger company, which means you get a greater sense of belonging and not just there to make up the numbers.

As in all consultancies when you come off a client project the unknown certainity at times of when the next one will start can be frustrating. However management try to rely as best they can any projects that may be in the later stages of confirmation which you may be involved in.
